I think she'll be 3rd down. I'm mostly going from that other post so far adding up though. 3rd down afternoon slot gives her the opportunity to return to headline.

I see your reasoning but am not too convinced. There's lots of new pop acts about - hopefully they get her anyway (instead of Sabrina Carpenter, who is absolute crap imo)

Sabrina has one half decent song. I would put Chappell higher than Sabrina with if they grab Olivia, Rihanna and Charli in the top 6 spots they won't be rushing to need Chappell as a sub. Even this year when they absolutely pushed the female scene they still only had one female sub with two in the headliners. Chappell would absolutely be a guess at 3rd down and so would Sabrina unfortunately.

I love it! For me The Park would make a great stand-alone festival. 3 excellent headliners and another handful of acts I’d be wanting to see….. but, like all these lists I have so say it’s most likely to be massively optimistic!

Oh my good God. The flow of acts I'd see from this, particularly Fri and Sat, topped off with Stevie headlining Sunday, would be the greatest satisfying mixture of music I love in the 7 Glasto's I've been to.

It saddens me that the line up is going to be exactly like this 🤣🤣

That Friday top 4 Pyramid is great but Jack isn't subbing.

Saturday is definitely my checkout other areas place with The Libertines and Underworld finishing. I do think Nick Cave opposite Fred is a poor alternative option however.

If Sunday didn't have Stevie and even if it did I could quite happy just based on that head home after Gilmour. Jack subbing Saturday with Sabrina 3rd down makes much more sense.

I'd like to see Glass Animals headline a stage vs a mid other slot (although less than happy about potential clashing)

Solid prediction - would question that Primal Scream slot though perhaps

It's a good effort, the one thing is see being a big no is for Fatboy Slim to open Other stage, I really don't think it worked for Annie Mac this year. Daylight was a bit of a killer and I think they probably hoped she got a better crowd, it definitely left with thinking had I had the energy or space I'd have got up to one of her sets like later at the stonebridge bar. Just return it to a band I think, I think Razorlight or The Cribs would be ideal nut someone similar like that. I think he'll headline Woodsies or maybe West Holts as he's previously only subbed when John Peel and do his Arcadia set again. I hope Groove Armada come back with Eats Everything as I regret not going to that even if it was just a dj set.

I reckon Kaiser Cheifs may get the set one slot higher that Bloc Party did on Other so the crowd isn't so manic. Them before The Libertines make a lot of sense though I can see them deciding to go similar to the Keane slot for them. We don't want an exodus like this year with the Pyramid leaving Keane to go to Bloc Party as even though these bands might not be at their peak...Keane sold very well this tour mind, at Glastonbury there is so may thousand more people from various ranges of eras than there is elsewhere making sets much more attended. More people will watch Kaiser Cheifs for example or Bloc Party there than they will at their own smaller capacity tour.

Annie Mac as a name is nowhere near the size of Fatboy Slim.

I imagine they wanted an act that didn't consist of 5 blokes to do it for once.

If they can't get a decent band in, he's a great option.

Yes this is likely unfortunately the case. I think they'll headline Woodsis or The Park myself, we don't need another 3rd down Pyramid and there are so many other better options for Other stage.

I agree, it's just reminded me of Creamfields at 2pm in the afternoon on main stage years ago. Its just dead in the daylight with any lighting unless you're off your box and 11am in the morning it's unlikely. I get the reasoning but I think they could pick someone like Ella Henderson or Natasha Bedingfield for it. I actually thought this year Natalie Imbruglia was perfect for it to mix it up buy keep a dj away.

Natasha Bedingfield would have been PERFECT this year on the unwritten / these words recent hype. still would work in 2025 too

Yeah for me currently one of those two would be great. Even Ella Henderson with Natasha coming out lol she did at Big Weekend and killing two in with one stone. Or Natasha doing it and bring Ella out for Ghost.

We went to the Radio One Luton festival, Ella Henderson played and brought out NB, crowd were going nuts, which surprised me somewhat.

Side note, Ghost is a top tier pop song.

That's because outside of this festival forum people do actually like some pop music and think liking pop music is okay. The world outside of the few hundred people that gather on here aren't just rock, indie or metals fans. Pop concerts sell out because a lot of people are fans of it and buy it. Unwritten is a great pop song and These Words isn't bad.

On here, it's almost an embarrassing thing for it be known that someone is going to a pop concert that isn't Taylor Swift. I went to Radio one Luton as well and it was great day out, Becky Hill was really good. She's another one though whereby you almost feel embarrassed to like her on this forum but C&S for example who you don't obviously didn't as they collaborated with her. I actually think it's quite an average output myself but I'm not really for drum and bass so.

Have I missed a Tiktok trend? These were out when I was at secondary school. I'm 36.
