Surely Shed Seven are better live, Hard Fi are an absolutely woeful live act. Sounds nothing like the record, madness.

While Hard Fi might be awful live, there is only one choice even for those two songs which are better than anything from Shed Seven. Get old Shesney Hawkes on Pyramid when they are on, wouldn't actually be surprised if he follow suit from Rick Astley and that happened.

Puts all of these in the frame for Glasto. Mostly Yungblud & Denzel Curry.

It's a woeful support can't again, I will not be missing out on TFG this time. Absolutely shocked he's doing it again. If that's not an only England show at last for Yungblud then he has to be in the running. He's not doing MK Bowl again and playing lower than sub level though.

Why was the Annie Mac set so bad?

On paper I’d have thought she was perfect for it.

I wasn’t there, but I imagine the problem wasn’t the set, but the time it was on.

Who wants to see a DJ at 11am or who is even up and about at that time at Glastonbury?

Four Tet always packs out Stonebridge at 11am, granted it’s a lot smaller.

Shame it didn’t work, always thought someone like Annie, FBS or Pete Tong would do a decent job as an opener.

Yeah it wasn’t my thing so I didn’t go but I thought it was gonna go down really well tbh, although I suppose she’s a bit of a ‘basic’ DJ and most people weren’t keen to be up so early for it after only getting back to their tents a few hours earlier. Hardly something you’re gonna massively regret missing if you decide to have a lie in or stay at your tent, unlike an actual live band.

No the set wasn't great either but it was all kinds of poor. I was up as camped opposite and ready but just dead.

Exactly the size difference of the tent and the dj gets booked for way bigger slots.

Quite well summed up to be honest though a massive disappointment if you were looking forward to it. Not as disappointing as the queue to get ind drumsheds last night though, never again.

I think this is a huge part - shes not exactly a critically acclaimed hard to catch dj

I know its early but if your into DJs chances are theres a better one elsewhere anyway

There is info on both Hard Fi and Shed Seven...very strong info for the latter.

Considering Shed Seven's current stock / recent success I'd be surprised if they opened the Other. If they play it'll be in a normal slot.

Other opener band has always felt like a legacy singalong. Apart from Beady Eye.

Hmm interesting Why is that -  I would say given there current stock it makes them more likely to open the other than a normal slot?    First successful albums in lets be honest (a long time).  Paralells with James when they were selected to do it in 2016!  If anything the early slot had been designed to highlight an act as oposed to just putting them on first -  Hard Fi in a regular line up on the Other stage would be pretty close to the bottom of it - you would think anyway,

We're not forgetting Ben Howard are we? That definitely wasn't a singalong...

It could have been if they had of actually played any of their hits. Instead, we got an hour of self-indulgent dullness. I am annoyed I was even in that field cause I knew that's what would happen. The G must not have been checking his setlists before they booked him.
