Thought Pendulum were 3rd down, unless either I remember incorrectly or they’ve played the Pyramid twice.

Any the time I saw them on the Pyramid, they sounded more like a rock band than an electronic/dance act.

They subbed Other one year and then subbed the Pyramid to Beyonce another (and it was this performance that allegedly more or less lead to them disbanding as they hated that they had become the type of band who were now performing to a sea of mums waiting for Beyonce, or something to that effect).

Ah subbing Beyoncé was the one I saw. Pretty dull.

I agree it's too early in the evening, the right size but not the right fit. The only reason I brought it up was because it was said it wasn't sure where they would be...I guess that could be though what day.

I was too, it was great but the sound was shite at Reading as it usually was. Arctics after got no better. That's why we went back to Leeds between 10 and 12.

I always liked the Reading site. The layouts good, it’s nearly in town and it has a history to it-though it makes me feel frighteningly old to realise Leeds has been going for 25 years. But the sound just isn’t loud enough.

Oh god has it, I went to the first one, despite it being much closer to Sunderland than Reading I never really got on with it, maybe because Reading, 95 especially, holds such a place in my heart of my first festival, being far too young and loving every second. I also has a great time in 97, much more alcohol involved in that one. Been back to Reading a few times since (and have lived in London for 20 years now so it is easier) but never went back to Leeds

I'm not sure I believe that, it's not like they didn't know who they were paying before. Beyonce also took a hell of a lot of younger crowd with that. She was 29/30 when she payed, not 40+

Yeah I mean we camped in red on nice flat ground in 08/09 and we had a great time despite the thieves next to us the second year....not our stuff taken thankfully, and site wise there wasn't an issue. The ball ache of dragging everything from the car park along the riverfront to the entrance wasn't exactly fun. No chance I'll ever return with it costing £55 alone to park for a day l, the same as weekend. That's actually daughter properly and slanderous. Worse than Download and that's a joke that's bad enough.

Merry Xmas one and all. Black Country, New Road should be on everyone’s radar to perform, as they may be announcing a UK tour in the new year

Hope so!

Seen them three times now and getting progressively better without Isaac and finding their new footing.

Will forever be sad I didn’t see the Ants from up here iteration of the band live.
