Incidentally I was talking to Beans on Toast on Sunday evening and he said although he’ll obviously be playing somewhere it isn’t sorted yet, and normally isn’t until January (ish).

Other than James who was on late due to technical issues, Annie Mac was the worst choice I've seen them take and not one I'd expect similarly anytime soon. It was dead, the vibe wasn't great and it just didn't work.

Who at Glasto thought a DJ at that hour would have worked.

I thought it did ... that opening slot is weird , hard to get the energy right . certainly not dead in terms of crowd numbers

Pretenders were great in that slot 2017. James were late, as you say, due to trying to lay loads more wood chip. Remember crowds standing outside the metal barriers still wondering if they would open the main stages at all! Ground was splonging.

No idea at all. I was happy to see her but it just left me thinking I either wanted to see her again at night time or just not bothered with her. She was always one where I wouldn't see Iver something that was at least half important but it's a no from me.

I thought the crowd was dead, I was right opposite it and compared to previous opening other stage Friday slots it was poor.
