Looks like Alanis could be a probable shout for next years ridiculously busy nostalgia booking if she doesn't get the official sunday teatime.

I reckon she's on the Pyramid somewhere - but more likely in a Sheryl Crow / Crowded House / Cyndi Lauper sort of slot.

Yeah, to be fair, the pyramid is the only stage I can realistically see her on if any lessons were to be learned from this year.

Actually have it on my predicted set for next year, but think a judicious cut may be hypothetically best.

Absolutely she's big enough to headline. As you say it would be very random though and I just can't see her in that slot. Could maybe see her as a Park headliner but it would be mobbed up there. Think as suggested above though she would probably slot in best daytime pyramid.

Definitely Pyramid after the Avril Lavigne situation, a lot of people will want to see her, both fans and for the rarity factor. She's a perfect fit for the sort of act on that stage

I think she would be similar crowd wise to Avril Lavigne -   Nostalgia popularity -  I think it might be a very dangerous pick to put her on the park -  I would think Pyramid or nothing

I hope Alanis does play, the rescheduled Jagged Little Pill show that I had tickets for ended up on Glastonbury weekend so I still haven't seen her

I agree she would be too big to be up at the Park. My point was in reply to her headlining Other as a possible not pyramid location. I was trying to get across (poorly it seems) that as a headliner I didn't think her music fits the other and would be better suited to the park. I wasn't suggesting thats where she should be and said earlier that Pyramid afternoon is the only place I can realistically see her.

No worries - id put her in the Cyndi Lauper kind of slot on Pyramid from last year, unless she is the Legend slot pick outright that I would not compain at.  I think after Avril they might be wary about putting acts in the wrong slots on the Otheer stage as its harder to crod control than the park, woodsies etc
