The Nal
Richard Sanderson is still very much active and still has the pipes at a youthful 71. 100k at this. Crack pipes being passed round the pit. Comfortably Numb vibes guitar solo. Edited October 5 by The Nal
NorthernSoul52
Honestly, know he's been and done it, but would love to have Tom Jones back, and not even necessarily in the Legends Slot. Saw him in Halifax this summer, a truly moving performance.

Looks like he over did it on the edibles. Typical f**king camping chair brigade. Keep him away from Coldplay or they'll wheel him out and sing Fix You at him.

NorthernSoul52
Clapton's a great guitarist, but not exactly stacked with a setlist of bangers given the way he frequently constructs his shows. Of course, you could meet the needs of the show, but it's pretty moot. He won't be doing it.

I had also seen him live both solo and with Garfunkel. He was much better solo! I think his current output is far too mellow and almost too ambient to suit a gig. It would have to be a total bangers set or the reception would not even be mixed
CaledonianGonzo
I also dug it more than most I think. Really glad I got to see him. But he should have done Graceland.
tarw
I’m probably biased though after he put money behind the bar at the Hammersmith Odeon (Apollo) for all the audience to have a drink on him on the Still Crazy tour. I had two drinks. In those days two drinks wasn’t far off the ticket price

Paid seven quid for a pint at The Wardrobe the other night.
CaledonianGonzo
Doesn't feel like there are any front-runners yet. No obvious candidates announcing tours next summer with suspicious gaps.
