There was of course a report saying that Girls Aloud were going to play the Legends Slot at Glastonbury 2024. Despite that never looking likely for multiple reasons (tour dates, INABS, nowhere near enough tenure, and generally not being suitable). I'd treat any reports of them playing in 2025 to be equally valid.

No matter how many random pop groups you advocate for the slot, there's still no indication whatsoever that the festival have any intention of heading in that direction.

 

Nor should they. They've got a slot that has a pretty strong identity, Girls Aloud would be a massive detriment to that.
