I've often seen Robbie Williams in the legends spot as a perfect metaphor for when your girlfriend develops a huge interest in pegging. You're far better off just agreeing and getting on with it at the next available opportunity than moaning, complaining and delaying it - just let her get it out of her system ffs.

 then its one and done, and doesn't have to stink up the bedroom/pyramid field for the rest of time.

If we take short term Williams uncomfortableness, we'll never have to hear from him again! 👍

Just watching the Hall of Fame induction for Cher. Clearly not using auto tune or miming, vocals not spot on but better than a lot of older acts we've seen over the years. Bring her on.

Just got to Kool and The Gangs induction. One of my few regrets was deciding to be elsewhere for their set. I know INABS slot, and the line-up is a bit Trigger's broom, but they'd go down a storm in the Legends Slot.

Looks like literally only one left from the mid 70s when they had their first wave of success.

 

Though to be fair, that person is Kool himself and so the name still holds true.

 

There's also a couple more who would have been around for their second wave in the early 80s.

 

Personally I'd put them on for a party immediately after the legends slot, similar to Blondie and Chic in recentish years.

In my top 3 regrets at the farm not seeing them at the farm. My lift had been ill from the Wednesday and decided we were going home after Pendulum had finished 😢

I see Cliff Richard is doing a couple of shows next year. Is there any reason he's not been seriously considered for the Legend slot (apart from being reportedly dead during several Glastos in the 90s)?

He's said he doesn't want to play it due to 'sound quality issues' on the Pyramid.

 

To me that more sounds like sour grapes because he's not been asked - which itself implies the festival aren't massively keen on the idea.
