My mate who was a Glasto regular before he had kids was going on about Mil Artistik (who was always at Glastonbury) and said how I had to go and see him...then he wasn't there as far as I can tell 🤔😅

Robbie Williams would be infinitely better than Rod Stewart. My God. Have people forgot that disgraceful performance he did for the Jubilee? It was so atrocious it was actually funny.

Hey, if that's what it takes to get her on board then so be it. Let her bring along anyone that'll help.

 

With the legends slot being max 75 mins (and a chunk of that can be used up playing to the crowd) doing it as a one off is a different proposition than a full 2 hour show, and may be considered more manageable.

Saw Rod since then and it was a great vocal.performance. Not perfect but good enough when the crowd are also carrying him with every word.

I agree, really enjoyed Roger Waters set and was massively disappointed with Rob Stewart, thought the sound was terrible. I would definitely avoid him if he played again

Far more entertaining than his singing is these days. The guy needs to retire upon hearing his last few TV appearances. The voice has left him. 

 

Definitely a legend but I'd rather go watch a you get band on at the same time if he plays.

He definitely wouldn't be my first choice... but hearing Karma Killer, Feel, No Regrets, Come Undone (plus the blatant classic singalongs which would get the field bouncing), I feel it could be much, much worse.

Yep thats the thing. Doesn't exactly point to "I'll do a glasto legend slot as Annie Lennox" out of the blue. One can dream.

I last saw him when I was a teenager at Bellevue, Manchester in 1978 - Blondes Have More Fun Tour. I would take a chance on seeing him again for old times sake! 😂
