UEF
Plus you have the same year Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza - Keane announced that, then announced to play Glasto (occurring earlier in the year)
kerplunk
Only been to it once - 2008 (Ting Tings, Franz Ferdinand...). Not really worth a long drive on it's own imo, but as part of a weekend in glastonbury perhaps. Shame it's not on the equinox weekend - we went down for that last year, found a great campsite where you can have a fire, went up the Tor, visited the farm on Sunday. We might do that again this year

So I’d say they’re pretty much nailed on. Elbow appeared 2022 (year of) Rudimental appeared 2015 (year of) Foals appeared 2013 (year prior) Example appeared 2013 (year of) Plan B appeared 2011 (year of)

panasonic2011
We we are definitely going. Gutted about not queuing for a ticket in Glastonbury but I suppose times are a changing.
superhans
Travelling from Cardiff for this. What‘s the best way to get to there using public transport? Any nearby train stations or bus stops?

EavisAintDead
Very disappointed, the support might be worth seeing but can't spend £60 on seeing the libertines who I've already seen at Glastonbury and aren't that exciting. Maybe we'll pop by the flower show the next day instead

I like it more as a social event ( I’ll watch the bands in silence ) but don’t think it’s particularly good for live music

Usually they have the PP headliners back right? In fairness to recent, Elbow and Wolf Alice both have played Glastonbury a fair bit over the years that they liked appeared in the years they didn't played this. I've not travelling that far for it but it's way better that Elbow and The Streets for me.
-TLR-
still on the fence as to whether i can be bothered with this - been to the last three Pilton Partys and absolutley loved them, but really can't stand the Libertines... can't decide if my love for the farm trumps my dislike of the band... will probably end up there tho... 🙂
