What have you done to get ready for Glastonbury 25?

Got tickets.

Booked flights and reserved seats.

Had leave approved.

Booked accommodation for the entire trip.

It's been an expensive month, but I've never had it all sewn up so early. Looking forward to getting past the financial sting and enjoying what's to come as a sunk cost.

Two of the first timers are looking at a CV now they have tickets but prices have shot up!

Very expensive couple of weeks

I have worried about getting a ticket 😄

I'll be trying of course, but I'm getting older and older and I still ache even now after this years fest.

But theres no way I wouldn't do the Tuesday AM to Monday morning, as i'd worry about getting a pitch / missing out / not meeting freinds etc etc, so it's an all or nothing again.

but it would be nice to get another one in before the fallow year 🙂

^ by some mircale, all that done, ticket and camper ticket in the bag.

so next up - refreshing my solar charging gear.

It's been stored in my garage since february after i dissapointingly had to scrap my T5 due to the turbo pumping oil everywhere rather than the traditional air (plus many other things that needed fixing on a 230k mile 20 year old van)

but the panel i have is easilly 10+ years old, so time to get a newer , possibly more efficient one, or maybe two. I have a decent Victron controller and new 110Ah batteries, so plenty of time to save up for some panels.

Then I need something reliably with a tow bar so i can take all that and the caravan it'll sit on 🙂

Bit windy round here, more like being in a boat than a van

I have done the same! It's currently 64mph here, and tomorrow is worse. We are a very exposed mile inland from the Atlantic, praying for our roof.

black friday wouldve been a good time to have gotten one on sale if you had to. Got a 10k one for $15 that has a usb c cable built in. I know thats only good for a couple full charges but not bad for just rotating day by day and keeping a big one in the tent for overnight.

flight booked

reserved a room in bristol for tues/weds

next up, passport renewal.

i'm not far from the seafront in WSM, and man, its picking up now, gonna be a noisy night

thread relevant: I've started a list of thing to pack, incorporating my 'things I forgot' list from earlier this year (f**king plates! had to eat out the frying pan in my caravan)

I have severe hearing loss (Ménière's Disease) and wear hearing aids, if I can hear a storm without my hearing aids (which currently I can) it's a strong one! 😂 Stay safe!

They dont sell plates at the co op? You figure paper plates would be something they would carry.
