Its so terrible it's good! My missus is NOT into this which is why I like it more.

The tank tank top doesn't even cover his belly and he gives zero f**ks

If he wants a conversation about tanks over a pint or two of ale and perhaps a bag of pork scratchings, i think that would be just fine with me. We could admire each other's tank tank tops, and work on bigger guts under them 😎

Last week I was watching a programme called we love Glastonbury on bbc4. Jake Shears was on talking about and showing his Glasto performance including the one where his wooly jump suit started unravelling. They would be a great addition to this year🤞

Saw Jake Shears at Camp Bestival last summer who did a few Scissor Sisters tunes, which was great, but lacks without Ana Matronic sadly.

We watched the bbc 2 Rod night last week and decided that the legend slot will be  brilliant, Definitely party time singalong in the sun.

We watched it too.. got all excited about the party vibe and fancy dress for that day.  I said on another thread, it'll be the biggest fancy dress since the kylie gold hot pants day 🙂

I've decided my outfit will be based on this Rod look.  It's in the early creation stage in my mind at the moment 🤣

Don't think Rod's ever worn hotpants though (yet)

I was skeptical, and not particularly looking forward to it, but after listening to his stuff, and putting it through the "drunk in a field at Glastonbury" filter, I've come to the conclusion it could potentially be ace! 😅

Today I wore my new walking shoes to start wearing them in. Previous ones were so comfy but have hole in the sole now so finally replaced them.

I’ve went for the usual merrell walking shoes with vibram soles. So comfy and ideal for decent Glastonbury weather, hopefully all I need this year and the boots can stay in the tent! Essential of course that they need worn in before the festival.

I had my first Glasto Anxiety dream of the season if that counts as getting ready?

Ha!  Just had mine too!  I turn up without a tent... is it possible to do Glastonbury without a tent... just curling up for a nap somewhere warm-ish?!

There used to be loads who did in the 80s and 90s.
I think now they empty the acoustic at night now. Welfare would provide shelter for you

That's mine too! I have it on a recurring loop every year from late April/May, but this early in the season is ridiculous 😂 the other version is I turn up and somehow it's already Sunday night or Monday morning and I've missed it.

Brains eh?!

Feeling chuffed I managed a 10 mile road race yesterday without repeating my Did Not Finish DNF at a half marathon in October. This morning my legs feel no worse than after a night spent at The Glade & IICON. So recovery from injury (combination of running and too much dad-dancing in September) might be on track.

On the topic of running, there's a wonderful product called Tailwind that helps fuel us on the go, on longer runs particularly, it's a powder to add to a pint of water. Anyway, it also got me through Glastonbury last year, one sachet every morning (buzz variety) got me ready for another day. I'd recommend having a look! https://www.tailwindnutrition.co.uk/collections/all

I don't work for them, I just love the product.
