Fred Again is in mind for me definitely. Biffy returning has come to mind. Texas in a decent spot. The Script back on a DF festival. Been too long since being practically every two years in the same spot.

EDIT: I mean subbing for The Script btw. As usual.

I guess Biffy Clyro only doing Victorious at a festival this summer gives them scope to do something more grand next year.

Maybe Muse could be an option? I think they're around in 2025 and while I don't back them for Glastonbury, feel like they could be a name for this thing.

Would be a good choice for a first time headliner.

Certainly I'd like it if they did something as strong as Killers-Chvrches-Franz-Friendly Fires in 2018, which I very nearly picked over Mad Cool Festival as a getaway. And Glasgow looked sunny that day too.

I was there and yes, it was lovely.

Glorious headline set as well to end the night on an insane high.

Fred Again seems nailed on if he's about and not wrapped up in an exclusive or something.

Muse would steer a bit away from the laddy bookings recently, defo possible though

TRNSMT definitely haven't been against putting out one more risky headliner, as short a time ago as Pulp last year which definitely wasn't a "laddy" one.

And Muse are definitely a safer booking than them.

Pulp are probably a lot cheaper and on a come back.

I don't see Muse as risky, just a bit more expensive than recent headliners if anything!

Clearly TRNSMT has downsized in comparison to when they got both Arctic Monkeys & The Killers in 2018.

Someone on the glasto section said they were trying for Olivia Rodrigo so I'll throw out

Catfish

O Rod

Fred Again

Could see Billie Eilish instead of O-Rod.

Could also see Catfish as a "bigger" support under someone like The Killers or Biffy Clyro

I think Billie is too expensive. Tbh i Can't really see O Rod either tbh. No way Catfish play but don't headline imo. Easy ticket shifter and cheap

The Killers do not need Catfish under them to sell out their day!! They would get a cheap support ala Garbage this year

Headliners are realistic but Lorde wouldn’t be that low and Kasabian would headline something of that size surely?

also aren’t Foals on a break whilst Yannis does his own thing?

As much as I love them I don’t think Bloc Party would get that high a slot.

Could definitely see the Libertines subbing off the back of the new album and sold out tour though.

Absolutely no chance Foals headline TRNSMT. Agree Bloc Party won't be that high as well. Don't see James playing that high, even as an arena act, which means I don't see them playing at all.

Fontaines DC in a big spot could be a good shout.
