CaledonianGonzo
Fairly sure it contains one of my very rare televisual G appearances.

I was working in West Holts at the time and the PA for the stage had been saying between every act that Toots might not happen - it was a shame, they though they might just make it so they did not put a replacement act on. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/toots-and-the-maytals/2017/worthy-farm-pilton-england-53e4f325.html Yeah, I vaguely remember that (always have your Google maps app on, peeps). I definitely remember actually seeing them at West Holts too, so they must have played a fair few gigs there over the years. I really don't like the idea of them still being called Toots and the Maytals though. Just The Maytals would be better (and I think they have toured as just The Maytals in the past). Hot diggity daffodils, would be all over a WH set. Giving serious consideration to a rare London jaunt in Jan to see her at the Palladium. CaledonianGonzo
Will it finally be Kano's year?
ironmike8
I'd love to see Kano back, but apparently he doesn't want to until he has new material, which seems to have taken a backseat to his acting recently. Would love to see him headline WH regardless

CaledonianGonzo
He does feel like a bit of a tap in this year. As to the other headliners its a bit of a blank canvas as far as I can tell. FKA Twigs doesnt feel like a punt. Are Maribou State in the conversation after selling out 3 nights at Ally Pally? kalifire
I’d also be unsurprised to see Kano headline WH this year. Was he rewarded for contributing to the live event in 2021? I don’t remember. Anyway, this is a bit old now but still one of the best to ever appear in this slot.

I wouldn't watch him unless I had nothing on but it's definitely not a dud. He gives me a lot of Eminem vibes which is probably why I can take to him. More than that he's one of the small-ish group that was on the 2020 bill and hasn't appeared at a subsequent festival. Him and Swiftie.
nikkic
Was The Park 2017 his last performance? Well over due if that’s the case.
kalifire
He did guest with Wretch 32 during Ghetts’s set at the Park this year, so he’s obviously still willing to put in some effort for the festival. That’s a good sign.
CaledonianGonzo
Seems like an obvious front-runner imho. Chaka Khan would be a result but expect these days she's Pyramid or nothing.
CaledonianGonzo
New Cymande single Looks like they were a potential for this year and it didn't happen for whatever reason - so maybe could instead happen next year.
curlyjake
En Vogue locked in for the farm and Love Supreme next summer, likely a West Holts booking. Suppose could also be Silver Hayes

I was looking forward to seeing them. I think they were swapped out at a lateish stage to make space for 47Soul and some Palestinian representation. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they were told they'd be invited back next year to make up for it.
wro_lap
Kano on WH would be an all timer. I could totally see them booking him 3rd down Pyramid first though, depending on who else they have bagged on Holts
FKA SOSOTWS
How likely would it be for Beach House to headline West Holts?
