He didn't say it was one of his dream headliners he said it was the first choice for this year. I suspect it is AOF though.

He did, he said they are on his ‘list’ i.e his list of dream headliners.

He said they were in the top 5 so may not actually be in his top 3 of Biffy, Alexis & Deftones.

AOF, Afi and Shikari/Feeder would be my guess but I reckon Feeder might actually not be big enough these days for it....I also don't think they fit.

Maybe, I'm only bothered about AFI, not seen them since 2009.

The only thing that makes me doubt AFI is that they'd surely outright headline? From the sounds of things it'll be one headliner one night and two co-headliners the other nights. I reckon Shikari are very likely for the outright headliner.

I don't think AFI have to outright headline. They don't really tour here enough to know what tickets they'd sell.

I agree that I think with Trees getting bigger and bigger that AFI could be a co-headliner. I don't think they would sub for a second with the rarity alone. But with Don Broco, Frank and TSS and Gaslight getting headline slots, they could be on a day of two now.

That's fair. As you say, with them rarely being here it's hard to gauge just how big a ticket shifter they are.
