It's fair to say that dickie being apparently supoort changes my mind lol. Getting him at Coventry this year for £12 is the best value gig I'm probably ever going to get. To be honest Slam Dunk for £4.50 is up there and so way Field Day for £15.

It's a very retrograde trio, but if they play a combined ninety minutes between them on top of Oasis, then punters might feel like they're getting some worth out of it.

This is also assuming there's not a fourth act on the list (Gene's band, probably).

I'm hoping for Cast, Manics, Dickie, Oasis as for the opening time just two too little.

Who’s peoples final guesses before the announcement next week then?

I’m gonna go

Alexisonfire / AFI - Amyl & The Sniffers / Kneecap - Enter Shikari

Seems like a solid guess. Would like to see Knocked Loose replace one of the smaller bands there.

Shikari don't see a co-headliner, bugger probably in my opinion than any option chosen for this year. You can say the venues Don Broco have done but naturally they've never done slots Shiakri have. AOF are more likely to have a co-headliner.

Co-headliners are Thursday and Friday night per the new pod

AFI/Amyl would be a great day.

Interesting Shikari are now out, I actually thought Shikari would be seen as too big and Biffy out is obvious.

Im listening to the Podcast now, he's still saying its one of his dream bookings, and its not Biffy or Shikari, surely the Saturday headliner is Alexisonfire or Deftones??

Alexisonfire or AFI or both I reckon.

Well, if Biffy and Shikari are ruled out, that changes things. We know theres a wildcard, and we know theres a "top 5 dream headliner".

Alexisonfire/AFI

Amyl and the Sniffers/Kneecap

... Weezer?

Honestly theres a lot of bands that cover a lot of these bases. I could see the dream band being Deftones, Weezer, Gallows reunion, etc. The wildcard could be anything from Kneecap to Knocked Loose.

I'm still going for Frank Carter & Sex pistols as the wildcard

Considering Frank Carter has headlined the festival previously I wouldn't say they're that much of a wildcard. I think Kneecap are the wildcard as they're a rap band but kind of fit.

I think they've got Alexisonfire and AFI as dream bookings on the Thursday and Fridays but could we get Placebo as the Saturday standalone headliner? They're releasing their film so assuming they'll be touring next year and I don't see them doing any other festival bar maybe Glasto.

Frank carter & rattlesnakes and Frank Carter & sex pistols are two different things though, has trees ever got a proper old school band headlining before?
