She's around next summer? Nice.

I enjoyed seeing her at the Royal Albert Hall, which was no mean feat given I had such an appalling stomach ache and spent the whole thing sat down. So seeing her without that kind of chaos would be a treat.

Wasn't a huge fan of the recent tour or the daddy's home

Much rathered Masseduction tour and St Vincent

Hopefully festivals will be different

I was bummed out to miss the Daddy's Home show, particularly as she did one in Oxford just down the road from mine.

But eh. We can be different. RAH on this run was my first time seeing her and I thought it was great.

Decent start and the fest is in an interesting location north of Gdansk (to any casual readers of this).  I suppose the more fests announce FKA Twigs the less chance she will decide to cancel bookings.  Are her and St Vincent (both appear to be Friday) likely to clash though?

No, they're playing on the same stage.

For me this festival has the best lineup in Europe for years now but I never considered going there because I don't find location attractive enough which is funny because while doing Sziget I didn't have any time to explore Budapest. 12 hours at festival per day and the rest is sleep and recharge.

Nice little beaches in Sopot and Gdynia to recharge.

If you enjoy the line up I wouldn't let the festival location put you off, we went into it sort of blind in 2019 and I was really impressed with everything. We spent our first night in Gdansk as it's easier to fly into their, but Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia (where Open'er is held) is known as the 'Tri-City' Area in Poland and it's really easy to just bounce between them on the train.

20 mins on the train from Gdansk to Gdynia the next day, had an Air BNB and just commuted up to the festival each day via the shuttle bus from the train station in Gdynia. Buses run almost every 2 minutes and it's always so easy to get to and from the festival.

As @gingerevans84 said, plenty of beaches around Gdynia and Sopot to recharge and everyone was really friendly with us when we were there. As an experience I found the whole of our time in and around Open'er an underrated experience on the Euro festival circuit.

+ Mother Mother

+ Brutalismus 3000

Does someone know, if its usually the case that new single names are slowly added now or if we get some bigger announcement the next months?
(Really interested in this festival or "Down the Rabbit hole" (DTRH). Might need to act fast, if the 86% of sold tickets statement for DTHR holds true)

Anyone know if there are night trains from Gdynia to Gdansk or Sopot during the festival days?

Or is it best to stay in Gdynia during the festival?

Was a bit tempted to go given the Massive Attack announcement today.

There are night trains, every 15 minutes or so, I think? To Gdansk via Sopot. Ca. 2-3 EUR for a ticket.

That's what we've done before: staying in Sopot (usually slightly more expensive, but it's a charming town) or Gdansk and going to Gdynia for the festival days/nights.

JPEGMAFIA, Brutalismus and Massive Attack are all great additions!

Thanks for the answer. That sounds great.
