2024 line up a bit "brit-pop" / "indie" this year. Any folksie acts you can recommend?

Hi there,

I see we have a 90s indie pop theme this year. I'm struggling to find more folk music style acts similar to Imagined Village or Seth Lakeman.

 

Can anyone recommend an act that's more folksie from the current line up?

Sharon Shannon trio, le vent du Nord, Katherine priddy and 3 daft monkeys will tick some of those boxes for me. But there is also the sessions curated by Geoff Lakemen in the Fiddler's Arms too.

Is that terribly 90s indie - like 4-5 bands here would fit that era? Anyway - it's always been a folky festival, somewhat conditioned by who the Levs have had as support bands over the last 30 years or so.

Overall it’s a dreadful line up this year.

Katherine Priddy and the 3 Daft Monkeys are great folksy options from the lineup.

2 weeks out and I've finally got some brain space to start listening to a few bands on the lineup!
