The Tories kept banging on about Labour putting up taxes, £2000 a year or whatever...and people still voted Labour.
They're going to have to do income, all the other stuff is too complicated. Keep bringing down NI, stick up income tax, unfreeze the thresholds, and just keep blaming the last lot and hope for the best.
I'd argue there was nothing to prove at Maine Road. With the expectation of both a comeback and the poor rollout of prices, there may well be something to prove here.
