NorthernSoul52
It's going to be a tricky act picking an artist who clearly won't outshine them in some quarters. Looking beyond the nineties may be the way to do that.

I'd argue there was nothing to prove at Maine Road. With the expectation of both a comeback and the poor rollout of prices, there may well be something to prove here. I don’t care whether it’s technically great or whatever it sounds amazing)
NorthernSoul52
Liam was giving a shoutout to Shed Seven, and I do wonder if they may get the spot somewhere. Could imagine Heaton Park having a revolving lineup.

kalifire
No dynamic pricing outside their UK gigs, I believe. Kinda sucks for UK folk who were hit by it when nobody else will be. I'll be trying for that Halloween gig in Melbourne. Pre-sale is next Monday, then main sale on Tuesday. No word on ticket prices yet. nusha
For the Aussie cohort - they're also going to announce 1st and 4th November (cup day) for Melbourne. Not sure about Sydney dates but there will be more than 1 date there too. We went into the ballot for the UK in August using 6 email addresses and only 2 of us got an email to confirm entry and that took 24-36 hours. Of those 2 entries 1 got a code, the other 4 got nothing - no confirmation even. We signed up again today and all got the confirmation emails within a few minutes. Not sure if that's an indicator of less interest here or improvements to the system but hopefully we won't be sat in a Ticketmaster queue for hours. More than I expected - not that I don't think they'll shift.
NorthernSoul52
Canada completely sold out, by the looks of things. I had an idle glance this morning over coffee. When are we expecting Japan, Korea and South America to drop?

mufcok
We got LA tickets, but they're shite seats. I had a pre-sale code but absolutely f**ked it up on the night. Still kicking myself. We're gonna go, despite the seats. Going to go to NY first, in the hope of picking up tickets. Maybe even get our hands on LA standing and sell the seating nearer, who knows. I regret not doing to the Roses at MSG, told myself I was heading overseas for these no matter what. Edited October 13 by mufcok 1

Not booked flight and hotel yet, thinking there might be some Back Friday / Christmas / January sales although it’s end of August so not sure if to book up now or not? Planning the Thursday to the Tuesday. Got tickets for the Sunday but might be able to pick up some for the Monday also.

kalifire
Both Melbourne dates (capacity 70k each night) sold out in about 33 minutes, and they've now added that third date that @nusha mentioned. I only JUST managed to bag a ticket, front GA, on their Halloween gig next year. I used the old 'ignore them when they say it's sold out and hope for a failed payment or session time out' strategy, and snagged a ticket just before there were definitely none left. So much for no dynamic. Technically there was no dynamic pricing, but there were so many tickets categorised as premium or ‘fan packages’, the effect was very similar. So when demand was through the roof and all the standard tickets were bought, whoever remained in the queue could only buy the same tickets at vastly inflated rates for an added bonus of walking away with a bit of tat. Sorry, merch.

You can't hold 70,000 for gigs at Marvel Stadium, can you? Thought it was only about 60,000 in max configuration. (Which in itself, I thought was weird because I did think you'd be able to go higher, at a glance.)
