Despite being festival big guns 25 years ago, they know their place now (lower down festival bills etc). I saw them support Macca at Cardiff and that was 14 years ago. Depends what festival - they are headlining Bearded Theory next year.

Ninety percent of that crowd won't care if it sounds like a dog shitting razorblades, it'll still be the moment of their 2025 lives for many. kalifire Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM So Oasis are big enough to sell out two nights at the 70k capacity Marvel stadium in Melbourne, but not quite big enough for three, at this stage. Still plenty of tickets available at face value, including GA. I’m sure it’ll eventually sell out given it’s still over a year away but it’s interesting to observe the ceiling. How much are they? and how does it compare in terms of $$$ to other stadium gigs over there? I'd say £150 was toppy for stadium gigs in England, about £100 seems to be the standard stadium cartel price here and they've positioned themselves not eyewateringly above that (ignoring the dynamic pricing nonsense)
NorthernSoul52 Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM At the going rate, what's left is about £160 - both seated and standing. This has a caveat - Australian gigs of this size are seldom cheap in the slightest. Tour prices seem to always be on the higher side there, especially for international artists, but it arguably is balanced out by a higher average wage packet. Even so. It's steep.
briddj
Blossoms ruled out of the two Oasis dates at Heaton Park. Supporting Stereophonics in Cardiff on July 11 and 12.
