Vanbang
Maybe that's it with announcents now until the new year, especially if the first posters have been published. Edited 23 hours ago by Vanbang
TheNewUnion
Disappointing though. Not many tickets will be sold off the back of what we already have. I've got a 3 day pass as we're going regardless and needed to book flights whilst cheap. Unless the pull something out of the bag though, ticket sales might be slow. Green Day would shift numbers, I cannot think of anyone else who is definitely on the road in Europe next year who can shift the number of tickets that Pearl Jam did, for example. just_one
not having announcements yesterday and today was expected. yesterday was GnR pre-sale and today general sale. im hoping for some big names next week to help sell tickets for x-mas. if they dont give any big names until x-mas this might be one of the worse editions of the festival to date

Me too, this will be my 5th time at NOS and we get flights, air bnb and tickets booked before any bands are announced. This year we skipped the Friday and stayed in Lisbon, but the Saturday was worth the 3 Day Pass cost alone, Pearl Jam were amazing! Next year i have no pull to the main stage at all for the first night. However what i do like is how NOS opens me up to new bands, some i have never heard of but have millions or billions of streams on Spotify. I would love the Fontaines DC to be there, i saw them in Leeds last week and they were amazing, but it seems this is not likely as they are headlining Primavera sounds in Porto, but does this write them off? Surely it can be like the UK when bands headline multiple festivals throughout the summer. I will be there again next year regardless, but not for a while have i looked at one of the announements and had that "WOW" moment. Probably for me it's only been for The Cure and Pearl Jam

Ajay
We do the same, get everything booked in advance. It’ll be our 4th year in a row. We trust Nos to curate a really diverse and interesting line up. They’ve not let us down yet. St. Vincent and Amyl & the Sniffers are the stand outs for me so far. St.Vincent is the only artist I’ve seen who gives me Prince vibes, I’m a massive fanboy, I think she’s that good! Intrigued to see how the line up fills out, but we’ll have the best time whoever plays.
charlierc
I saw St Vincent in London in June and despite a horrific stomach ache from something bad I'd eaten earlier in the day, I thought she was wicked. So I would like to see her again sans stomach problem. Is she enough to entice me over to Lisboa? Probably not. This was one I really wanted to come too as I like the city and hear great things about the event, but it's just not clicking into place the way I was hoping for. Ah well. TheNewUnion
The posters are clearly missing a headliner. No idea what they are playing at. "Come to our festival, we've only got two headliners so don't forget to buy a 3 Day ticket." Unless they plan to go BIG on day tickets for the other day. Coldplay, AC/DC or whatever and treat it as a case of "hey we've got this event too". Madness Strange.
