First confirmation for next year on the 5th July. Fontaines DC with Amyl and the Sniffers and Kneecap

Do Finsbury Park gigs normally get announced this early, almost a year in advance?

 

I was wondering if Fontaines got announced early, so they could sell tickets and sell out their own show before they are announced for festivals?

I was pretty sure Jamie T got announced early to so went and looked, tickets went on sale 05/08 the year before so I’d say it was pretty much the same timeline

I must admit I am surprised about Fontaines, but I guess it is the zeitgeist right now.

I think Amyl & Kneecap will have helped as well.

It did for me getting tickets. I can't get to the Amyl tour this year so when i saw them supporting it was a great combo and not too bad a price.

I’d have gone if it wasn’t for Rock Werchter.  Amyls gig is about £45 so as a support they’re very much value

They're up to £45 themselves?!

 

That's... steep. Honestly though £32.50 plus fees as a hard limit for them.

You will in fairness get a longer show from them at their own gig but still.
