Ticket tips and Tricks for 2025 festival

100% success rate in our group. Lots of "access denied" pages though, just kept refreshing and going back and forth and eventually I got in. Managed to get the last of our three groups when the "all tickets allocated" was already up, battling the access denied thingy, and just seconds before the sold out message too. Amazing.

A mate got in and then got his IP blocked... and then i got in 6 mins before the sold out, but it took me to the "look up existing order" page and then couldn't find my order (seeing as I don't have one). I couldn't get it to take me to the actual booking page. Then it sold out.

This happened to a friend of mine too.  Tried everything but it had obviously taken her to the wrong page for some strange reason

We didn’t manage to get tickets sadly. Had one of our groups get tickets, they have never been before despite trying for years so guess the new system benefitted them. Congrats to those that got tickets

So, do you think the organisers will view this new process as a success then? I can't see any reason they'd be unhappy with it really. Queue handled the traffic, and tickets were all sold out sharpish, so wasn't like the Oasis sale with people spending 4-5 hours in a queue and coming away with tickets. Reckon this will be the process going forward.

Seemed to go very quick this year? Nobody I know was lucky enough to get in but congrats to those who did. No issues with the new system, despite it being boring not having to hit F5. Just wish they added a queue number?

I’m out now but every year on here, people claim to get tickets well after the Sold Out message so maybe keep trying?

I had this too, kept going back and trying again, then trying refresh, after about 6 goes it worked.

Also found out that you can go back after completing an order and place a new one! - Wonder how many people found that?

Managed 22 bars on my laptop to make for painful viewing as they crept up but knew it was too little too late looking at the time. Of course I am gonna say that I preferred the old way as I felt I was at least doing something and , as others have said, last year I got after almost half an hour or persistent refreshing and despite a few crashes between registration and payment. But, equally, congrats to all who got in this window.

I'm sorry but I'm not buying the 'it doesn't reward dedicated people' line. Everyone is dedicated in their own ways and this festival isn't for the same 150k every single year. Nobody outside of the Eavis family has the god given right to be there every single year.

Glastonbury is one of the best things about this country and is a cultural behemoth. Everyone deserves to experience it at least once.

None of my group got any. One got close but the sold out notice came just when he did.

Well done to all those that got them. I'm quite hopeful that lots of new people will get to experience this amazing festival next year. Glastonbury should be for all not the same 150k every year.

None of us got lucky this year. Like you, I hope there's a lot of first timers who discover what a great festival it is and find the love for it we all have.

Yep. If they’re sensible they’ll add a page where you have to input reg details before being admitted to the queue. But otherwise this is the way forward.
