So, 24 hours to go. We 'think' we know the headliners. Who are we hoping for / expecting in addition?

 

Leaks mentioned there was a focus on the undercard this year, giving the potential for some more well-known names to appear (like Justice - who are definitely not a headliner it appears). What other possibles are there?

I'm hoping for Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, Romy & Nothing But Thieves. Would also love to see Jungle again! And if they'd add Robyn, I'd be more than satisfied 🥰

Is Robyn back for next year? I’ve always wanted to see her, if she’s at Sziget tbh at would be a great booking.

 

jungle, parcels, NBT, blossoms ,Gracie Abram’s , marina , Sharon van Etten - any of those would be good bookings for me

Would take all of those too. Of others who are around, would love The Prodigy, Bloc Party, Maribou State, London Grammar, Myles Smith, Kenya Grace, Palaye Royale, Khruangbin.

 

Would also love it if we could get Sports Team, after the horror they've just been through!

Nahh not yet they did a interview recently saying there going to do Europe next year so I feel second announcement might be them if it’s around the same time

if they're doing a dozen headliners like last year I'd gladly take Justice as headliners as well. if those four get announced (maybe kol and qotsa too?) and as leaks said they're focusing on the undercard as well that would be a hell of a lineup

If it is actually this + a good undercard, it will definitely put to rest the thoughts that Sziget was changing for the worse.

I would hate to see Justice as a co-headliner. They would do much better as a Revolut headliner

I'd love them to be on the Revolut stage, I just wonder if the smaller stage can hold their equipment. I remember they destroyed a biggish stage at Primavera Porto this year.

I'm more worried about their light show being completely lost at like full on daylight at 8pm. 

 

But let's not forget that there might not be a Revolut stage at all. And I don't just mean the name, I mean this year they promised major changes, they might have a completely different and potentially bigget second stage.

Yeah I guess I took too many things granted. First, that there is no point of booking Justice and not have their light show, and the other is that they can't take away the Revolut stage as, for me, it was the major place where interesting music happened. But sure, everything is up at this point. Hopefully we will know a bit more tomorrow.

I was there, they canceled all the shows on that stage that day.

I spoke to the festival director and he told me it was both of their mistakes.
