Fully agree with the above and I would add what I have said a million times - if you don’t like what’s at the top of the bill at Coachella then you can go to one of the few other stages.
most of the magic at glasto happens away from the pyramid stage or ANY of the main stages - you won’t get that at Coachella
You're probably right but, as I've stated earlier in this thread, it's not right that we should be second-guessing the organiser's intentions. They should be laid out as part of a marketing strategy when creating such a shift.
We have some semblance of an idea because of Leaks but your average punter might well be very pissed off if they've bought tickets and are now wondering if this is the right festival for them.
Assad has gone, either fled or dead. Amazing how quickly this all happened, I guess without support from Russia or Hezbollah it was always a matter of time.
They tend to have an on/off/on again series of lineups given touring schedules...
I think they will go for a 5 headliner set (2 co-heads) and try to play it off like we're close to 2023 levels.
Linkin Park or Foo Fighters will be there, and I'm leanin' Linkin.
Big rap act will be Tyler the Creator off the back of his worldwide tour and hit album. I'd have said Kendrick but he's the biggest in the world right now.
He will co-head with an alt-rock like Twenty-one Pilots.
The indie headliner will be Sam Fender, again off the back of a huge tour for his next hit album. He will co-head with a dance act like Chase & Status.
Subs will be Fontaines DC, Little Simz, Idles.
Sam Fender / Chase & Status >> Idles
Tyler the Creator / Twentyone Pilots >> Little Simz
Linkin Park >> Fontaines DC
