The Doves comeback appears to have split the people I know down the middle. A lot of folks saying "what's the point then?" and a good few absolutely swinging around the metaphorical pole in delight.

Hold on - I didn't realise it was without Jimi. Thank you

saw kraftwerk at Kalorama a few years ago - would rather they don't clog up a big slot to be honest. There's not many big dance acts each year, lets get an exciting party one!

There's not a lot of room to hide when you're a three piece.  I won't be bothering, unless they're at Glastonbury and I'm not busy having my tea or going to the toilet.

Yeh. Fair play to them for giving it a crack, and good to see Jimi still looking after No.1. That has made my decision about whether to go for tickets or not though.

Far from sure splashing a load of the festival cash on one bloke and three stand-ins, stood behind laptops, churning out dated shite is a good decision.

3 stand-in's? There are 4 members of Kraftwerk. Totally irrelevant how long each member has been in the group for. One of the stand-in's, Henning Schmitz (he plays keyboards!), has been in the group for 33 years, so hardly a stand-in. I have a good feeling about them this year.

Was Japanese Breakfast who couldn’t make it that year. Don’t think The Japanese House have ever played but wouldn’t surprise me if they’re around supporting Charli.

Belinda Carlisle has just announced a tour in September 2025. Had no idea she still performed. Could see her at Avalon maybe? Seems to be a resurgence of these 1980s nostalgia acts.

I would love this.

Could see it more on the pyramid on the early side a la rick astley

Jimi has said he's not done with the band, just sitting this current tour out to focus on his recovery. Hopefully he'll be back at some stage.

Clairo and Missy Elliott please

Loads I’d take from this.

Gaga, Missy Elliott, Prodigy, Parcels, Maribou State, Basement Jaxx.

And there’s a tonne of decent DJs too.
