Dales
I guess if you are going to tease a name then the one to do is one not already announced at another festival. Am I trying to hard, we know we always get names from other Superstruct events and most headliners have played recently only leaving Pulp and Prodigy ( and they are at Boardmasters, and so questions marks)

With their current European festival tour dates (June) looks more like Glastonbury or Trnsmt for UK festivals. Would love another Shepherds Bush or Apollo gig in there somewhere 😉

Kingkev
Was just thinking that cherries 🍒 go with kol but why put a random song choice? Could well be am but how would cherries fit?
Kingkev
Could be double act placebo followed by kol

That's useful to know as it gives a reason to use that song. Going to be gutted if it's not KOL but struggling to think of other credible options. Did think long shot Neneh Cherry but not headliner and one cherry would do the job, so why have that logo. Better not hint at KOL and it turns out to be Black Stone Cherry. I know KOL are much maligned on Efestivals but I am a fan, so well in for this and go see them when ever I can. Would have rather had Pulp on rareness as KOL likely to keep going for years. I really hope that Victorious move forward and we do get another big name and not two fillers. Common sense says it will cost to much, but how many extra tickets could they sell with bigger names. We really need that poster. Depends what you call big i guess - The Prodigy are definitely not filler but are also not really big either, but people would be happy i guess. 1 hour ago, Dales said: Until the poster comes out, I am holding on to the Pulp dream. I have convinced myself that Superstruct would not allow Victorious to put up a Pulp clue as it might effect Tramlines sales. Get those sold and put out the Victorious poster with Prodigy, Pulp & Kings of Leon. Oddly, I wore a KOL T-shirt last night when I went out. Maybe tonight, I need to wear a PULP one. As said - tramlines really didn't need help selling Pulp! If anything it would have made sense to announce victorious first as it would be the first uk pulp date, then sell tramlines as the homecoming. The fests are pretty far away too. 1 hour ago, ThatMuseKid said: Could you explain what you mean by “not too far of reach any more!”. Muse are still and always will be considered headline material. Every seems to think they are losing followers but yet they are headlining “PinkPop” which Olivia Rodrigo is playing and she’s in this world of music stats “massive”. They’re playing the Saudi shows with Eminem and Linkin Park. They have been put as headliner for a festival with 150,000 people. They have headlined Glasto and Reading 3 times each aswell. Their last tour was their highest grossing tour of all time. They are still selling out and doing their typical 2 nights at the O2 arena. I think they are still far too big to even be considered for Victorious. I reckon they cost a fairly similar amount to KOL to be honest. I don't think victorious would go for them to be honest - although not much different a booking to KOL An acts latest tour being their highest grossing is pretty standard given inflation as well 🙂 would be a bit worrying if it wasn't 48 minutes ago, Kingkev said: Was just thinking that cherries 🍒 go with kol but why put a random song choice? Yeah, good point they could have marketed it that way. I am just really clutching at straws as to why if they had Pulp, they did not do a clue for them. If they have KOL I am happy as I know there are always plenty of bands I like and just need a big headliner to justify the travel/hotel costs. I can't remember what KOL cost the last time I saw them but it was at BST with gold circle and so not far off what Victorious charges for an early bird ticket. I've never watched all the common headliners as there is often some one I prefer on the Castle and so just as interested by who ends up there but just like the common stage, I don't know who that may be. KOL are a bigger headliner than Pulp is why they have the clue, pulp playing or not lol KOL would never do some of the shows Pulp have been booked for in this tour

I meant Victorious have never been close to getting a band the size of Muse. I think them having Kings Of Leon as a headliner means that Muse are no longer just a dream for Victorious. Hopefully sooner than later! I think Victorious is definitely becoming a huge festival. I think it’s almost that I never want to see Muse play a small festival. Small gigs yes but not a small festival. Reading 2017 is in my blood
jonnytee1
Until your pop your cherry, you’re pure pure morning simple innit 😂 Seriously I think it’s KoL however the cover for red morning light didn’t have a cherry on it - that cover was “mollys chambers”

Been going to Victorious every year since 2016 and a dream would be to see Muse there - so Victorious now booking bigger acts, can surely only mean better things for my dream. I was at Reading 2011 for their OOS anniversary show and also 2017. 2017 was amazing. My partner and I right down the front. Shep Bush was literally a week or so before that show and I got to experience Showbiz twice in so many weeks. Phenomenal. For me Drones was their last best album after the big 3...you know which ones 😉
