I dunno, we always write “more US headliners” in the questionnaire. Did superstruct get bought in the end? Could  be to do with that?

On discord? There was a fake poster doing the rounds last year that was pretty much spot on, but not quite, so maybe the same here.  Swap vampire weekend for pulp and we are talking one of the best line ups of the new century for people of a certain age.

does look fairly realistic. big surprise would be the American headliners appearing that hadn't been considered much at all  quite the departure

Think the Everything Everything placing is a bit odd too. Any chance they're that high?

Certainly a very strong lineup, if real. If I wasn’t at the opposite end of England I’d definitely consider it.

Yeah, seem's to high but then again there is no one signicantly bigger than them on the line below on that day.

Very fair point. Just seems odd seeing them on the same line as two acts on a significant rise.

Looks like that might be it then. I can see why people think it’s strong but it doesn’t really work for me.

With accommodation and posh seats it’s a very expensive gig for me now and it hasn’t got the depth of Indie landfill I used to love.

i guess we wait and see.

Yeah, they look like the smallest of the 3rd line acts from all the days. I wonder if it was just a design thing and the lenghth of the name fits well. If this turns out to be legit, I wonder if the will find a lower slot on a later poster.

Aside from the triple US headliner (which I think is definitely a departure, but believable), the one thing that stands out to me is that typically the castle stage headliner is placed 2nd, which would mean they're putting Bloc Party up against Kings of Leon? Would they do that? I have to imagine there's a load of crossover there of fans.

Not always this is the case, especially when they may not have been announced yet, something will be held back for future announcements 

 

Thing is, surely QOTSA is a more expensive booking than Pulp!

The only questionable point for me is Saturday. It's the weakest of the 3 by FAR.

 

Unless the Castle headliner is TBA but they usually put that if they are. 

 

Nelly Furtado is doing euro fests next year but that's a huge slot where looks like she's being placed and why?

 

Plus Rizzle Kicks as afternoon special guests? That won't get ANYONE in the festival early to start spending money. 

 

Charlatans and Craig David would, but sure Craig David done that slot before?

 

The rest seems absolutely plausible

Rizzle Kicks have the same billing at Boardmasters. Of course someone mocking up a convincing fake could have used that as inspiration, so doesn’t tell a whole lot

Craig David played the afternoon slot in 2021 and The Charlatans only just played last year, seems strange they’d have them back after only two years, even if it was the afternoon slot. 
 

I’m curious what the text is next to Dodgy and Toploader.
