It will 100% be today. It’s KOL announcement day - they’ve already been announced for 2 others this morning

Quite a spread-out tour then right? If they're going to be doing Newcastle and Cardiff shows in June as well as this'un.

What a fabulous lineup. Absolutely wounded that we've committed to go to Florida now otherwise would 100% be getting a ticket.

Big fan of all 3 headliners. KOL have the tunes but are a bit boring live sadly. If they would only liven up a bit their live shows would be great.

That would be way better. Gonna give it a miss this year

With a line up like next years, Victorious have really upped their game. Muse, Foals and Wolf are a realistic shout now I'd say for beyond 2025

As above, serious step up in quality headliners.  I hope they add more to the undercard (Gabrielle listed 3rd on Sunday?) but I think they have decided to go for bigger headliners and less on the undercard.

Its very guitar / indie orientated, which suits me, but I wonder how it will change the dynamic of the audience compared to previous years where pop got very decent representation high on the bill (Raye, Jess Glynn, Sugababes, Becky Hill)

Some of these mid-sized festivals have really upped their game this year at providing a bit of variety and difference in the line ups (to their usual offerings). If I wasn’t at the Maccabees show I’d have been all over this.

I think they've slowly been shifting tbh. If you think about the trouble they had with the year that The Streets headlined and all the issues with security that year. The problems on Castle Field with Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The guys that run it have always wanted it to be like old school V-Fest/early 00 Reading vibes, and the nostalgia angle is definitely leaning towards it.

It slaps the face out of IoW this year, though.

I think out of the Superstruct festivals, Victorious and Boardmasters have always been the better of the lot. Rest of them are still too similar to each other lineup wise, I think.

Absolutely destroyed IOW this year.  Sting? Justin Timberlake? Very odd move by them, but IOW loss is Victorious gain.

I can see Victorious becoming the bigger festival on the circuit due to its location

It reminds me a bit of Bestival when they started putting heritage acts on as headliners. The best bit about Bestival was the cool, up-and-coming indie etc. While I appreciate the older acts, with the exception of The Cure, I had zero interest.

Was hoping the press release would clarify who's headlining the Castle stage, but assuming it's Madness Friday and Nelly Furtado on Saturday. Can't work out Sunday - surely KOL vs Bloc Party wouldn't work, but is Gabrielle really big enough to headline it?

Was just thinking about Bloc Party and KOL. REALLY hoping they aren't on at the same time. Would be perfect Bloc Party followed by KOL on common.
