I reckon some sort of big female artist.... Travis will be there and Last Dinner Party... mebbe Frank Turner... praying for Elvana hah And The Cure from pure unadulterated hope.
NorthernSoul52
The Cure are one of those bands who I'd say are far too big to do it, but also wouldn't necessarily turn it down if asked.

NorthernSoul52
Are Pet Shop Boys going around again this year? They've been relentless on this hits tour - though I'm also pretty certain it is the most successful one of their career to date, so keep a good thing going, I guess. They said they were wrapping up the tour with the Radio 2 In The Park gig a few months back. But then they've done a few guest slots at things since then, so they've not shuffled off quietly, and there's nothing to stop them launching a "new" tour for 2025. NorthernSoul52
Yeah, I wonder if they'll just go around again. Seem to enjoy being on stage plenty.
northernangel
Ideally The Prodigy, Florence and Pulp
eatingglitter
Boo about The Cure, but at least my delusions are now unfounded. Haha! I wonder if we'll get anymore American acts this year? The Pixies popping up was a big win for me this year. I'd love a bit of that SoCal pop punk that we used to go to the Pyramids and Wedge to enjoy.
NorthernSoul52
If Weezer hadn't been and gone, they'd be a lovely shout, but I also cannot imagine they come cheap.
Selly
Looking to bands with albums out this year that may therefore be actively performing. The Courteeners The Libertines Fontaines DC Future Islands Master Peace The Reytons Sofi Tukker Frank Carter Conan Gray Would love 21 Pilots to get a headline slot. Catfish atb have an album due out, so could be a good bet. As have Franz, Manics, Wombats, Doves and Inhaler. another good bet could be Supergrass, who are celebrating their 30th Anniversary. lets see if any of these come true! 😆
sisco
I’d expect Pulp and The Prodigy
NorthernSoul52
Think Pulp are an excellent shout after the Tramlines reveal.
Dales
I would be more then happy if they blow the full budget to get Pulp. They are clearly getable, my only concern is that maybe they might just want to do Sheffield.
Dg_vic
it’s now or never for pulp and victorious. still sticking with my previous guess prodigy - fontaines - pulp.

That does look reasonable. I want it to be Pulp so bad that I'm not that bothered who else headlines but would be more then happy to take Prodigy & Fontaines. I do wonder if one will be a surprise like Mumfords & Biffy in recent years.
Kingkev
Do we think fontaines big enough for main or headline castle? With all the other leaked headliners from other fests it may be comes a little clearer of who we could get . So my guess would be common Prodigy Bloc Party Pulp castle Travis Fontaine Basement jaxs

Think if they did play, would be as an early afternoon special guest.
FestivalJamie
Would be such a missed opportunity if victorious don’t book Florence for 2025. shes done boardmasters in 2023, it’s been a long time coming for victorious.
