Victorious Festival 2025

Recommended Posts

If it follows the format of their (amazing) Crystal Palace gig earlier this year, a Bloc Party gig would be more of a greatest hits set that happens to include most of Silent Alarm spread throughout it, so might be considered different enough. Fingers crossed!

OMG one of my favourite bands the Maccabees are making a reunion announcement on Monday! Perfect Castle Stage headliners in my humble opinion! 🤞

The APE announcement has probably finished that hope. Victorious and APE do sometimes share acts but not headliners. As an example Pixies headlined Castle last year and also played further down the bill at APE.

With Maccabees playing APE bank holiday weekend Victorious still looking like the better choice for the weekend.

The APE gig is being sold as their first appearance since splitting so that rules out Victorious

Think we will get a big idea of who to expect this morning,  Kendal calling announcement at 8am, being same festival company, always share some headliners and under card.

They actually didn't share I don't believe in headliners this year but then Kendall has poor headliners.

Last year Vicky shared not a lot however , kasier chiefs were there 2 years ago, courteeners last year and fat boy slim too.

So if they are to share one then surely its Prodigy? long overdue too!!

Yeah I'm expecting it, it's was a rare only second time since at least 2018 they haven't shared one and it can only be The Prodigy. I'd be amazed if they haven't finally got them.

If sisco is right that means I reckon Biffy for Truck and Y Not. I thought they'd have got them at least for the next biggest one along and potentially the fast selling in Kendall. Maybe that's not happening at all though and they just take a Glastonbury sub slot

Saying finally got them, do you mean finally got them back?

They headlined in 2018, with imo the strongest 3 headliners they've ever had Libs, Weller and Prodigy.

You could argue they could run those 3 again, all have been touring.

Weller is long overdue a return for sure.

Maybe next year they finally book Florence

Also Madness got to be due a return

it'll be interesting who they get this year. I'd have bet on Noel being one of the others but with Oasis that's not happening. And Victorious booked two headliners this year that the others didn't get.

You bet on Noel being there every year 😂😂

They’ll share one at least with the Y Not/Truck etc… crowd.  Prodigy will be very likely and then a random standalone one (like Mumfords/Biffy)

I do, definitely not this yesr though. I think they would do very well to get Lewis Capaldi on a return. I really think Fontaines DC could be one though might see themselves as too big for it.

Yes I guess I mean finally got them as in back. I agree that was the strongest set but I wouldn't book 3 the same again. Florence would be great. Madness they can keep lol

If they changed dynamic a bit, Stormzy or C&S aren't out of this but not preferred.

As mentioned, prodigy look likely as dance act. From the rest, I would say Travis, Last Dinner Party and Frank Turner are likely.

I reckon you're about right on those 3 and except for Skindred they are the 3 I'd take. I'd say Daniel Bedingfield has a big chance too as 3/4 of that section already played last year.

Certainly looking like The Prodigy has to be one of the headliners.

I could see The Last Dinner Party being a castle headliner, although like Wet Leg I would question if they have enough material. I like both but feel you need more then one album of short songs to headline a major stage.
