What the hive difference? So you'll go over by ferry?

The hive you can either pay for a pitch, pre erected or pitch your own.  It’s got a big arena for a party at night, showers etc…

We haven’t decided how to get over yet

Train to Leuven (train ticket included in the festival ticket, you need to active it though), shuttle bus from there to the festival site. You can find plenty of info in Werchter thread 🙂

Just reserved a hotel with free cancellation - torn between this and Werchter for July but it'll all depend on the line up. Attended back in 2018 when it was at IFEMA. Not expecting the billing to be anywhere as good as it was for that year hopefully they can pull a few good names out of the bag.

Some realistic / semi-realistic acts I'd be happy to see: LCD, Jack White, Caribou, Confidence Man, Fontaines, Vampire Weekend, Blossoms, Future Islands, Justice, Tame Impala, Nation of Language,

2018's was fabulous and I kinda regret not doing more than just popping in for a day trip to AM/Jack White day.

I assume a number of acts playing Werchter will also be at Mad Cool tbf.

Pardon the interruption...😝

Coming back to MC2025, err..., I wanna remark that I counted with Billie and Foo Fighters as sure, but now I have doubts about a "recovery of lost acts" strategy... so we have to depart ex novo in order to prefigure lineup

If "recovery" is a chance, Faith No More and Cage the Elephant, would be nice for second tier; among with  acts who were here in the past, like NIN,  Vampire Weekend or Tame Impala, I could envision a very strong second line of heardliners with those acts.

I guess how many divas will be at MC2025, right now Kylie Minogue, Olivia Rodrigo and Alanis are in the air... I,ll go for Alanis ( Olivia second)

In this MC2025, I hope we,ll have new faces in Villaverde, last year was very old-faces, and in this wavelenght, threre are two names I,ll die to enjoy live: TOOL & WEEZER, I wonder if  they,d have headliners status, and I think of course.

PULP and SUPERGRASS would be nice subs just in case

Finally. I think MC has to hide one definitive ultra genuine Great Name to lead the line up, Foo Fighters would be one option, so let, swait to see if they have another ace in the sleeve, in case the Seattle band is not the chosen one.

SPECULATION not INFORMATION.

Justin Timberlake ruled out as he will perform in Sevilla for the only spanish concert

Having just come back from a holiday in Seville, I didn't realise the Plaza de Espana was usable for concerts.

Saying that, Green Day did a show there in 2019 for an MTV awards do, and apparently Take That played there a few months back, so I guess it's possible.

VAMPIRE weekend are hiting hard with their new album…at the moment they have a restricted european tour focusing in UK and Paris/ Amsterdam in December.

So, there is a chance they to respeat at MC? Not easy , but  would be great News

And would be as headliner? With their present success, I would not rule out it

With the new UK dates for Olivia Rodrigo announced what are the chances she will headline?

Personally I’d be surprised if she doesn’t do the Mad Cool, Werchter, Opener etc… route

My bets: LP, OR, KM and SLIPKNOT

Good but not great, Kylie is MC standard, even this edulcorated LP, but  Mad Cool needs a top rock name like PJ, METALLICA, FF, GREEN DAY, THE CURE…

TOOL would be something close, in case FF could not show up cause of Grohl issues.

Definitely, LP, KM, TOOL would be a bold  first line, whatever would be the fourth name.
