Can anyone succeed there? So much noise and hysteria and a lack of evidence they're learning from previous past errors in the transfer market.

I'm still not confident enough to call it either way. Data largely hints Harris might squeak it, but not by enough for me to say she absolutely will, not least given different polls are reaching very different conclusions and the US pollsters in the last 2 elections undercounted Trump voters, or at least were ambushed by people too embarrassed to say in a poll they would. Equally I actually think the Republicans are running a bad campaign - seemingly don't care about alienating women voters and are making so many mistakes in messaging. I think the terrain is there for a Republican to win, but if they don't win, the only conclusion is that they've spent the whole time getting in their own way.

I would expect Lorde at the main stage too. I just thought that it depends on the direction she goes in with her new album. If it's a pop album with hits (or that tries to have some^^), she would be on the main stage. If it's something more experimental/artsy or laid back, I can see her accepting other slots. Especially if it's a quieter record the indoor setting might even be beneficial.

I've been pretty fortunate at Glastonbury and not seen the horrors that others seem to have encountered, aside from the obligatory overflowing portals on a sunday back before they got shot of them. The one that always raises questions for me with grim conclusions is the time I found a finished food plate next to the seat in a long drop. Who the f**k took that in there with them to finish eating it?
