Nothing for certain but last year they made announcements 4 days in a row among which 2 were headliner announcements.

Øyafestivalen will announce more in a "few days", so could be more from Way Out West this week.

She's doing Øya Wednesday the 6th and Syd for solen Thursday the 7th, so I'd assume Friday the 8th.

Thanks! Going for Syd for solen now as its a short bike ride for me. Mrs FrogLobster has already gone nuclear with excitement and we haven't even got tickets yet. 🤣

Edit: Unless Chappell Roan is a headliner but she is not listed as one and they usually announce headliners separately. 

 

Not my cup of tea but I would assume Chapell Roan will headline her day. Thinking she will likely even be the biggest name of the lineup next year.

Much prefer Fontaines DC and Khruangbin.

I agree! And she might indeed headline: I don´t think I realised how popular she is. She could potentially be in a co-headline structure like they did with Pulp/Fred again last year.

 

Anyway, hoping we will get something like Nick Cave or QOTSA among the rest of the headliners (apart from Radiohead of course but that´s probably wishful thinking).

Yes, they were originally on the line-up last year but cancelled all their late-summer gigs (including WOW) due to Josh being ill. Same thing happened with the Smile.

Having QOTSA and Fontaines most likely makes me fly to Goteborg another time. Really enjoyed 2024. Can't wait for the announcement so I can check for flights etc.

First early bird tickets are released on Monday morning so I hope that means we get another announcement in the coming days.

Yeah it seems very likely now. I'm guessing they will be announced next week.
