She plays Norway on Thursday 7th so my theory is that she co-headlines with Chappell on Friday.

Anyway, hoping for more rock announcements soon...

Same here. Personally, a few big names that dont play Primavera would be nice. QOTSA to start with of course. Surprised they're not announced yet.

Yes, me too. I really hope they will be announced. If last year is anything to go by I think Thursday will be the "rock day" and QOTSA are free on that day as far as I know.

Flow Festival making a first announcement tomorrow so could be some crossover (although they will probably include some artists already confirmed for WOW).

Yes, they also announced Beth Gibbons today so hopefully she shows up at WOW.

The only artists announced for the Nordic festivals in August that I am excited about are Fontaines dc and MJ Lenderman and both are at Primavera. This is the disadvantage of drip feeding the lineup. Might skip WoW this year unless they bring out some stronger undercard additions later on.

Roskilde is shaping up quite nicely. They’ve still got a couple of headliners to go so I’m interested to see who they book

Of the artists touring in August, I’d be delighted with any of Vampire Weekend, QOTSA, Bicep, Justice or Nilufer Yanya.

More than happy with the 5 announced so far, to be honest. Enough to buy tickets, at least.

Also, I’m just excited to visit Gothenburg - never been before.

There´s a decent chance some of them will be there I think plus Girl In Red, Beth Gibbons and Kneecap who play in other Scandinavian festivals around the WOW dates.  I´m personally hoping for QOTSA, Last Dinner Party, Beth Gibbons or anything Radiohead-related;)

The last Oya announcement makes me dream that WoW will also book Amenra and envy.

I doubt it though, Oya always seem to have a couple of quality "heavy" guitar bookings that WoW never bother with.

Would love to have Amenra. Great band. Not sure it's the kind of band WOW would consider, but would be great to have them play the tent on "popday"
