Doja Cat leaked her new album tracklist so I guess thats some evidence towards her being around next year.

No reason to rule them out at this stage I guess, for me I think that C&S and then BiCEP both feel more likely at this stage - and I could not see them picking multiple electronic acts in these slots.

Keep forgetting about Bicep. I would think currently those two do yes. Kinda think Bicep would be WHs though?, unless that's a bit of of underestimation on their size given the crowds size.

Yeah complicated as they put the insta  that the 3rd album was ready, after last years festival they put the insta story with whats next Glastonbury.   

 

but then Matt had that very unfortunate health scare.   

 

Someone told me that the new album was due November (i.e now) but that before Matts health scare (or at least it was public) though it seems like he is making a good recover - these things are hard to schedule around.

 

I do kind of wonder if the plan Was to release the new album and these winter shows would have been 3rd album launch initially but given the health scare, were changed to Chroma shows as Andy can do them independently.  

 

as to what that means for Glastonbury booking who can say. I doubt that a Chroma show would be considered at g outside of a traditional dance area, so if they were in for a Other or West Holts etc show you would think it would have to be live show and probably of the back of a new album

I think I saw them in some capacity at least once at every Glastonbury since 2016 - as far as I can remember they only missed 2023?

When it's a dj rather than a live show everytime it's very easy to be able to book acts year after. Take Parklife who regularly book Carl Cox. Creamfields who book the same djs but they don't book live acts every year and the one's they do don't often return that quick.

While I  think it’s very unlikely this seems to hint at Linkin Park doing a non-headline UK show. Not sure where else they’d play and not headline outside of Glasto. Potential Other Stage headliner maybe?

Bring me the horizon a shout? Haven't seen their name mentioned around much, but they are definitely doing festivals in Europe in June 2025.

 

They're firmly at headliner-or-nothing level for other festivals, but could concede to Other Stage headliner for glasto?

They've played twice before on the other stage though though (2016 and 2019), and have only become even more popular since then.

Due to getting the Download headline slot a couple of years back, they've really worked on their live show as a spectacle and i think would be pretty bloody excellent as Other headliners, in the dark. Last time they played they were opposite Kylie in the legends slot, which didnt help them - and in 2016 half-clashing with zz top, which i'm sure didnt help them either with tons of crossover in the fanbases - so an Other headline spot with not much crossover would see a huge great big crowd, i'd say. Great alternative to whichever is the most pop-friendly pyramid headliner

Based on that phrasing they could definitely still headline the festival, since it's different from headlining their own show.

I think there's a very outside chance of them doing a Sunday secret set but they won't be putting a band doing Wembley on any advertised slot outside of the Pyramid.

Vampire Weekend are Vicky-exclusive next year according to their website
