Heck, The Script, Simple Minds and Texas have all sold out initial allocation. That's good enough for the organisers, I reckon.

I was aware of them but hadn't appreciated how popular they have become.

The Piece Hall really does have a lovely surround internally - Halifax town, not so much - and the acoustics are pretty good to boot.

Shame the venue has been plastered with TK MAXX logos so everywhere you look you can see that rather than the venue.
