Claire0406
Anyone had any good experiences of Viagogo? My mum is desperate to see Coldplay so much that she’s looking at using them.

A majority of Coldplay tickets haven't even had their initial sale yet, so it's way too early to be looking at resale surely
Neville Street
I hate them with a passion, but….. I used them for tickets for the Dr Who Prom at the RAH last month and it was actually a small premium and the experience was good and all worked smoothly. Fishinginthelongdrops
Used them for RAH tickets. Ticket office at RAH confirmed the (expensive) tickets we’d supposedly bought hadn’t even gone on sale yet and entry would only be permitted with photo id matching the lead booker. Viagogo were making it difficult to get a refund so we just asked the credit card company if they could step in, which they did and thankfully got our money back. Dales
Surely your mum would want to try for tickets in the main sale from standard sellers like Ticketmaster before even thinking of alternative sellers? it’s far to early to panicing about tickets. They will come up on Twickets and Ticketmaster resale at some point. I got through in the pre-sale this morning and only £157 and above tickets and so left it. Pretty sure I will pick tickets up at some point in the future. Will be trying again tomorrow hoping for something cheaper. Viago should be the last possible choice after all other options have failed.

They are touts and should be stopped. 🤬

Yeah that’s what I meant after this mornings sale, as a last resort, I’ve seen good and bad stories about them I personally wouldn’t touch them but she’s desperate to see them and has been trying for years to no avail

Ticketmaster has their own reselling function too which is only supposed to be face value although I haven't used it. I do believe that Coldplay have said no to Dynamic Pricing for these gigs though so even ticketmaster should be reasonable. Viagogo should only be used as an absolute last resort and definitely not for paying vastly inflated prices. Also stay clear of facebook unless you exercise extreme caution. It is chocked full of scammers.

Viagogo will still be selling tickets up to the concert dates and so plenty of time before then to try Twickets etc.
