I just felt it was a strange appointment in the first place as it allowed the Torys to spin that partygate enquiry was politically motivated. I just think it’s one of those jobs that you could probably find several qualified candidates, so pick a less controversial choice in the first place.
Well they can‘t have PJ if they don‘t tour. The anniversary wouldn‘t help much. I was confident too that this was TBC but there is zero rumors about Europe which is unsual.
Bit like the Striesland Effect where she asked people to stop taking photos of her house and it just lead to more and more.
Truth is I'd forgotten I'd written the exact same "Any info soon?" post literally an hour earlier and forgot, so decided it had to go.
I also think that a lot of comedy fans really hate the Jimmy Carr/Ricky Gervais/Dave Chappelle type of stuff. Kinda feels like Ricky Gervais fans like Ricky Gervais rather than stand up in general. If you see what I mean.
An easy guess would be BST given that the dates fit neatly with a current gap in the tour, they've not announced anyone yet, they pay big, and the various London stadiums are quite heavily booked already.
Could even see him doing 3 nights there, taking over an entire weekend, as he'd be able to sell it out fairly easily - not something that typically happens at BST, but I don't think there's any philosophical reason behind that.
