Dread to think how much I would pay for Nebraska, or any Bruce acoustic at the RAH. It wouldn't be pretty.

I paid £55 - in 2005.

That was pretty pricy at the time, would have to think with gig inflation that'd be about £200 now?

That's about what I paid for Neil Young's acoustic "Greendale" show at Hammersmith in 2003. It was a lot, but well worth it.

He says it's the album that represents him the most so maybe he doesn't want to dilute that with the full band version.

I'd agree.  He went through some dark times post-Nebraska, so I wouldn't see him as in a hurry to re-work material that he's since recognised as significant to his very existence.

Yeah the highlight of the gig. Heard him rehearse it for an hour in the queue.

I think he actually did play Spirit in the Sky. And John Lee Hooker.

Yeah, he soundchecked Boom Boom, didn't he?

I'm not going to lie, I remember seeing the physical print copy of the setlist for Dublin #3 in 2023, when the show felt at its most static. He had The Ties That Bind, Racing In The Street, Ramrod and Jungleland all on there.

Kind of insane that he was toying with that kind of old-fashioned break then.

I've always assumed most "live" versions of Nebraska material with the E Street Band is very close to how they would have been cut in the electric sessions, Johnny 99 and Atlantic City in particular.

Electric Nebraska feels like the next holy grail to be fair. It exists, but it's whether we see it in Bruce's lifetime or not, I think.

True, maybe a compilation of live versions from over the decades then? Could even just do it as one of those Spotify albums

Might even be a version of that up already. I'd imagine most, if not all Nebraska tracks, have been played with the full band by now at least once.

yeah we could probably make one from those many Spotify live track compilations, or at least close to the full thing. Add in the Broadway, Live in New York etc and it'll probably get to the full album
