SummerSolstice
Great price, would pay that just for Bloc Party. Also happy with Yard Act and WAS.

Slightly dearer than the City event, but some bigger acts, and of course, guaranteed entry, no queueing at venues.
efcfanwirral
Liking the lineup a lot, Bloc Party doing Silent Alarm and hits sounds great to me, plus Sigrid is brilliant, and I also like Amazons, Natasha Bedingfield, We Are Scientists and Chloe Slater. I'm hoping Neighbourhood Weekender does come back for 2025 as its a lot more local, and I'm over to Leeds the following weekend for the Kaiser Chiefs show, so probably won't be going to this, but would if I was local! Must have some dirt on Futuresound.
NorthernSoul52
But it seems a steady enough start. Yard Act will get a bunch through the door irrespective of anyone else, as will Natasha Bedingfield. They'll feel pleased with that.
sheffinghell
There'll hopefully be plenty more good stuff to come. Last year the two big announcements were end Nov and end Jan, so they're a month early. Which means we might get the next bit chunk before Xmas. They were superb on T'Other at Tramlines this year. Bloc Party similarly the year before.
DomDom1984
There looks like lots of room for decent names. It's a pretty good lineup even without that though. Wondering if Silent Alarm is enough to get me down there early.
NorthernSoul52
Bloc Party were very good at Glastonbury, but I was packed into the heart of it like sardines. Wasn't the most pleasurable experience for me, who generally prefers to hang back or have a nice deckchair.
sheffinghell
Tiered ticketing this year. Early bird price is a steal. On sale 9am Friday.

They were, again though the crowd surge from Keane to Bloc Party and being stopped at the fences with squeezing through was mad! The worst thing about Glastonbury is how many tickets they sell for the same space. 10 years ago I would have got from Pyramid to Other in a nice spot for that gig with no issue. But that's the difference between there being another 33k people on site. I ended up getting back to my tent and dancing around there to it with my campers. I do feel I need a different spot though next time. 42 minutes ago, sheffinghell said: Tiered ticketing this year. Early bird price is a steal. On sale 9am Friday. Yeah you can't argue at that. They'll surely do a southern option.

'Live at Leeds on tour' I did wonder with the new comedy stage, etc and the tiered pricing, whether they might be looking at selling it on to someone like Superstruct in the next year or so. Or perhaps they're just trying out new ideas for cost-savings, and/or widening the appeal beyond the core indie audience.
NorthernSoul52
Not exactly Live at Leeds if it isn't in Leeds, is it. Of course, Slam Dunk did expand too, so who knows.
