Sign of the Times 2025

I went the first year of this and really enjoyed it and then missed a few years and returned last year which ended up as a bit of a disaster as they were caught out by the dreadful weather. I ended up leaving early the first day as the rain and mud was so bad. Went back the second day and lasted to the end of the day and saw Travis who were good but getting out was so bad that we never went back on the Sunday as I knew it would be a nightmare getting in and out again.

 

I do hope they plan better next year with track way etc and its a big question mark against them and know they received plenty of flack over they handled traffic and the conditions.

 

I have to admit I was hoping for much better for the first announcement and only Ferocious Dog really appeal but Elvana, Gun and Hugh Cornwell should be fun but not enough for me.

Poor lineups (for me anyway) seems to be a common theme with all the recent festival lineups I have  seen.

Paul Young still doing his offshoots, I see. Imagine it masks those vocal frailties more than a typical show.

First headliner, saw this touring outfit a few years ago at RAH and they played all the hits. Anyway lost patience waiting for Sign of the Times to announce the headliners and got tickets for Forever Now.

This always seems to me to be the most inappropriately named festival out there. 'Sign of the times' - Really?!!

You'd be hoping for forward-facing funk or Prince-indebted disco all the way.
