I think, as said above, cows Moo which could = Muse? That’s my best guess at the moment. Though still reserving some disappointment for KoL.

Fair enough. Google is also telling me that Declan MC Kenna has cows on his artwork, but presumably he's not quite a big enough name.

They've just been announced for NOS Alive in Portugal as well so it certainly gives off that vibe.

Yeah seemed too much of a coincidence with other announcements to not be KoL. Disappointing act for myself but still 3 days to go and so far the bar is pretty high for the calibre of acts they’re seemingly attracting. Maybe Muse will appear another day if they decide to do a UK festival.

They do seem to have been quiet again for announcements after confirming their Finnish, Dutch and Norwegian festival dates tbf. Guess we'll see if they turn up somewhere eventually.

Kings of Leon is a great booking, just a shame they are one of the most boring live acts out there. A strong undercard could save it though.

 

Looking at Victorious Festival that also has them playing, they have Vampire Weekend, Queens of Stone Age and Bloc Party.

That’s what I’m hoping, fingers crossed. Wouldn’t be surprised if they just do their own stuff but would rather a Newcastle date as local as it gets for me. Always have to travel for them

Not to go all Kevin Keegan, but I'd LOVE it if Muse ended up at this. Would be even happier if they got a good undercard.

I am starting to wonder if Muse do this and maybe Lytham. Would feel like a big coup for both, especially given they have nothing else lined up over here. Production is the one thing that puts me off the idea - would have to see what the logistics are.

I'd imagine with the focus being on festivals, production probably won't be an issue.

Well yeah. Even then, Kings of Leon are doing multiple similarly sized events around the UK as well so I'd imagine they've got a decent budget production along with Robbie.

 

Guess main aspiration with Muse is if they've got anything new given the hacker mask has been their thing since they restarted post-covid touring and was still in use for their show at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last week.
