To be honest as well, a show at the end of July is well after the Coachella April option and even a month after Glastonbury. It's not like he's doing like Werchter the week after, or even like Mad Cool or something mid July
At first flush, if he's sticking to less than a dozen and a half songs, I'd assume this summer's shows will roughly look like:
1 People Watching
2 Getting Started
3 The Borders
4 Nostalgia's Lie
5 Spit of You
6 Dead Boys
7 Crumbling Empire
8 Spice
9 Howdon Aldi Death Queue
10 Wild Long Lie
11 Get You Down
12 Will We Talk?
13 Arm's Length
14 Seventeen Going Under
15 Remember My Name
16 Hypersonic Missiles
Still really not sold on Remember My Name over The Dying Light yet. The latter has that full E Street rush to it that seems like it would clear hurdles better live.
He mentioned this on Instagram a few weeks back. My guess is that there's significant difference to coming up with a suitable show for headlining the Pyramid via something he can use out the box for a much less highly scrutinised performance.
This is similar to what we do - small and light, can hold a few cans and a hoody. As the day goes on and the cans have gone and the hoody is on, it just pops in the pocket/ on the belt and I'm ready for late night shenanigans without annoying the other folk around me when I'm throwing shapes in a spangled mess (well, at least the bag won't be annoying folk...)
