What's the WV / SL demand like? Do they sell out instantly like normal tickets or does it take longer?

Try for East Quiet Lucy, you will be shattered after getting the buggy back up the hill without walking any further! Quiet are to be left of Pylle Lane, (blue line in middle of the map) General are to the right. 😊

They go pretty quickly but there will be some availability later for resale. There was even some that popped up in early June if you kept an eye on the ticketing page. And some random people on here even sold their spots cause they couldnt go. I think this time being the queue system its gonna be a bit different. But if everyone is using the backdoors it might help.

I would never have guessed that the “quiet” camper spots are closer to Gate C - very glad I’m on the forum for that nugget of info!

East Quiet usually sells out first and as has been said above it's a shorter walk to the gate. There's usually CV tickets pop up a few times after the resale too.

I snagged a CV ticket after resale via this forum, so they definitely do pop up

My Dad is 67 and going to Glasto for the final time. Having a guaranteed spot near the car is nice for him, carrying all his stuff for a mile or 2 on the Wednesday and Sunday isn't ideal. We're hoping to get a podpad so there is also a (small) airbed already in place which also makes it easier, and then hopefully some decent toilets and showers.

When people say campervan tickets sell out fast, is it like the main ticket sale where you're very lucky to get a ticket, or just that you have to be online at the right time then you'll be ok?

Treat it like a ticket sale and you'll be fine haha. 

 

I'm sure there's around 6000 CV tickets and combine that with how many of us are old enough to need a bed and proper sleep means they usually sell out very fast. Everyone manages to get one on the sale day it seems!

There's degrees.

 

In the initial Campervan sale:

- East Quiet will go extremely quickly, and you'd be lucky to get one.

- East General still fairly quickly, but a decent chunk of people will get sorted.

- B&W will be last to sell out, and most people who want one should get one.

 

Later on, when cancellations kick in as people realise that hiring a van costs three times more than they assumed, availability increases and you should be able to pick a B&W pass up very easily, and even East will be available at times.

 

So if you're fine with B&W, there shouldn't be a problem. Might be a bit more effort involved if you really have your heart set on East, but still doable.

So we rented a motorhome within 10 mins of securing festival tickets, we spoke to the guy the next day and he said within an hour, the rest of his campers had been hired out for glastonbury and was rejecting offers to bump people out of them. Luckily he's extremely local to us.

Hoping to get accommodation and sticklinch parking booked tomorrow. Are we able to purchase more than one (we’d ideally need 2) parking pass per booking, or are we better off splitting our group in two? Thanks!

For 2023 you were only able to buy 1 car park pass per 2-man WV tent booking. I had to add a WV car park ticket when I paid my ticket balance in the April. However, I had to contact See Customer Service as only general car park passes were available to book on the site for balance payments 🙄 They added one to my ticket order and sent me a payment link. No major hassle tbh but hopefully that’s been sorted for this year. We’ll see.

It wouldn't surprise me if they went back to the queue it system to be honest, there must be quite a few bookings being made over the CV fields, the pre erect fields too

Doubt it. There’s nowhere near the level of demand as for the ticket sales. Site is usually very busy for first 10 mins then calms down. Most people get sorted.

I agree, I don't know many people at all who didn't get what they wanted at the first attempt.

 

Seems to be a lot of first timers on other socials asking about CV and pre erects

 

I suppose time will tell!

 

I'd rather a CV quiet ticket just for the distance with a 2 year old 😅

Good luck 🤞 We’re just after basic 2-man scouts at WV. There’s a load of them so hopefully will be ok. Worst case, they tend to be offered for sale at fairly regular intervals between now and the festival.
