Dales
Just saw a bigger version of the poster and noticed that The Damned are performing The Black Album. So many good tunes, History of the World, Dr Jekll & Mr Hyde, Wait for the Blackout, 13th Floor Vendetta its going to be class. I was hoping for some of Phantasmagoria but will happilly take The Black Album.

henry bear
This is taken from the site of the VIP/hospitality providers (only £750 for some posh nosh and a lanyard). It gives a list of the acts that may or may not be the actual stage splits

I am hoping that there will be some form of staggering between stages, guess we will have to wait and see.

I think it is plausible inasmuch as if The Damned are doing the Black Album in full, plus presumably a few hits, then what’s a headliner length set. Most acts are going to get about 45 minutes or so. I reckon the stages will be staggered and that there’ll not be much of an overlap between whoever is headlining the second stage, and Kraftwerk

johnl
All sorted. Opted for the GA rather than the £750 VIP ticket 😀

sheffinghell
Booked - special treat to compensate for being given notice of redundancy today. As an aside, good to see that prices haven't risen today, so hopefully some left at the starting price for anyone going for them tomorrow. NorthernSoul52
Still on first release. Would be fascinated to see how many they actually have shifted so far. If it was above Birmingham, I'd be tempted to sack off Billy Joel and do this. But alas, getting myself to and from is a bit of a hassle, unless Big Green Coach are swinging into action. I think the price is too high for the more casual audience, considerably above APE for example, and they're banking on the HMV dads who clearly still have their hands in their pockets. MK is the not the easiest, but a straight run up/down the M1 for many. Probably going to be freebies, and I may regret buying up front! henry bear
When Kraftwerk tour the UK there’s always a right bun-fight for tickets - less so for when they do festivals The GA price is on tier 2 now. Rebellion was announced last week too, and I expect there’s a fair amount of crossover with ticket holders. With a capacity of 25k I think this will sell out, but it’ll take time

A straight run down the M1, but given that for most it's only realistic by car (with hotel options being minimal, trains not running late enough, and a general lack of other public transport options) that means at least one person has to remain sober as a designated driver. And parking around the Bowl is generally awful with egress being even worse. I tend to think of MK Bowl as being a last resort venue - certainly the "lineup threshold" needed to get me to even consider it is much higher than it'd be in say a London park. And I'm no fan of going to London.
henry bear
I’m booked into a Premier Inn right next to the bowl. Looking forward to revisiting a venue I haven’t been to since Bowie in 1990
NorthernSoul52
It's only 25,000? I thought the bowl could hold plenty more than that.

It can do, for a "big gig" single stage setup. Appears they've just configured it differently for this.

With the price of tickets these days I am reluctant to buy early and get lots at the same time. I have bought my tickets for this but other stuff like The Offspring, I just think they are not going to sit on my money for a year and I will wait and try to but nearer the time. johnl
See that Muse are playing Hellfest in France on June 20th. Wonder if there’s scope for an MK bowl appearance on the 21st? That would be very handy! Edit: The Cult and The Damned also on the lineup that day. Edited 12 hours ago by johnl

They already did the Bowl in '23 but are also are playing a show on June 22 at Pinkpop in the Netherlands, so I don't see them playing 3 shows in 3 days tbh.
