They already did the Bowl in '23 but are also are playing a show on June 22 at Pinkpop in the Netherlands, so I don't see them playing 3 shows in 3 days tbh.

Ah ok, makes it unlikely then, that’s a shame. I keep thinking it surely makes sense for AEG to get something there on the Saturday.

You'd think so but tbf Muse's 2023 show at the Bowl was a Sunday standalone event. So it's not that unheard of.

Guess it depends on whose around and is ok doing Milton Keynes instead of London.

Bludfest announced for the day before. I hope the weather's decent and site isn't too trashed!

Not surprised they’ve put something on that day to share the costs. Thought they might have done something with more crossover mind. I’m in MK on the Saturday too but think I’d need to pick up a real cheapie to get me along. That said I’m sure plenty of people will enjoy it. Agree we need decent weather now!

There were some tix on TfG this year and I think the price was deliberately lower anyway.

Aye I think the conceit was that it was about £50 a ticket, which for a big show like that is pretty good going now (alas). Though I think it was capped at 30k, so about half what a fully sold-out MK Bowl can hold, and I don't think it even reached that number.

Do wonder how long everybody is going to get at the top end of this. Eighty minutes max for Kraftwerk, forty to an hour for the rest?

Looking at the Cruel World setlists, I think Duran Duran got 16 songs, the second tier acts got 12, then 9 and 6. There's a lot of acts on at Forever Now that are similar sized, but I guess The The and Billy Idol look like being touted as next down after Kraftwerk. I suspect The Damned will be the 2nd stage headliners as they're performing The Black Album in full, which is quite lengthy.
