Saw them headline WH in 2013 and it’s one of my favourite festival gigs. Was such a top vibe, whole crowd dancing away.

Sunday afternoon is going to be absolutely epic with Rod into Chic

Brilliant night, that. Absolutely there for Nile in ‘25.

They need Sunday afternoon/evening to be a a real party, you dont wont to be heading into a fallow year on an anti-climax, you want the punters and TV audience to be begging for more! Rod into Nile (so to speak) ending with Stevie would be just the ticket. Squeeze in a Duran to Duran, Simple Minds or Tears for Fears in the middle of those somewhere and it could be one of the best Sundays theres been, the locals would lap it up too and avoid a half empty field at the end of the night as people start to head home early. Would be an sustained massive crowd from the time Rod comes on to the end of the night...

Ditto - my friends and I still refer to the Chic WH headline set as the best night of our lives. Absolute perfection of a festival crowd/vibe 🕺

Great performer, but it'll be a similar set to 2017, no? Loved before, but not grabbing me that much to see the same.

It'll be a similar set because he knows people want the bangers.  But he's got a massive catalogue of material to make some tweaks here and there.  And the potential for special guests is massive too.

One of the Glastonbury parties ever.

Should put them in that spot again.

For you, sure.

I'd go with Skip on this one, albeit for different reasons.

Madness suit a sunny afternoon spot purely because of the tunes, whereas I think Nile's music is better fitted to the sun going down and into the evening. Ska for the daytime, disco to get the night started.

Mostly the same reasons, totally agree on “disco to get the night started”.

I don’t dislike Madness.

As it appears to be Rod followed by Niles I'm thinking:

Legend, big party, fun band to kick back to and then Stevie. But I'll be happy with whoever fills that spot as I'll still be on a Niles high!

Now, Tears for Fears, yes please! I really hope they are playing next year, would be amazing.

Re Nile, how many times has he played now? And they complain about Coldplay!

As early as possible for Madness.

Don't wanna give Suggs to long at the artist's bar, based on their headline set at Bearded Theory a few years ago

They also played 3rd down in 2009 and 4th down in 2015 IIRC. Cant see them being any higher in 2025.

Crikey, Duran Duran or Tears for Fears between Chic and Stevie is an all-timer of a Sunday evening

Was hoping for simple minds but they are already playing elsewhere in the UK on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday so that rules them out

I reckon it’ll be someone younger.

Not often you have 4 old duffers in a row on The Pyramid.

I have been lucky enough I have been to every festival since 2010. This was the best thing I have ever seen in my life never mind the festival.

No ticket this year (So far) but it will be a great set.

Off to see them in Liverpool tonight. Bagged a ticket for £2.50 🤯

Literally the one day that weekend I didn't spend any time in the crew bar. Apparently he was an absolute riot. Gutted I missed it.
