I always thought their music was a tad insipid but I saw Michele Stodart perform solo in a tiny Manchester venue a year or so ago and she was really powerful.

Saw them  few years ago being mcalmont and butlers backing band, it was an amazing gig and she was awesome.

I saw the Magic Numbers on the Acoustic Stage in 2017. There was something that just felt quite wholesome about it, I really enjoyed it

Their songs have too many sections in them.  Forever Lost would be quite good if it didn't have all those slow passages in it.

They are so good live..they are at Glastonbury most years in several stages....I'd say they are well liked by the inside team. Lie elbow

First time I've seen them in a good few years and was amazed at how good they still are. Lovely to see musicians really enjoying playing together too.

haha i stared for a good two minutes at the image too - nope, no mistake here, definitely a self confirm, posted here.

I will go sit in a dark room and think about what i have done. In fact their tour dates all but rule Pixies out. Oh well, as you were.
